THE  personal STORY

In service to the community at large, Theresa has been PTA President at Lake Arrowhead Elementary School, a Girl Scout Leader, and an organizer for the Annual Lake Arrowhead Brewfest along with other various charity fundraisers. She is also the proud mom of an Eagle Scout and supports several youth organizations.


When she isn’t on the clock Theresa spends her time enjoying the San Bernardino National Forest, where she and her husband live with their son and their furry companions (both domestic and wild). She is an avid craft home brewer, crochets beautiful hand-crafted keepsakes, plays classic video games, and tries very hard to
not kill off her variety of orchids.

When asked why she's a Realtor, Theresa has varied responses but the strongest one is because of her teenage years. "When the stock market crashes in the mid-1980s erupted, I saw my parents lose two homes within ten years," Theresa has shared. "It was devastating to experience that as a teenager, though looking back my parents did a spectacular job of keeping us all together. Something imprinted in me that not only would I never want to be in that position as an adult, but that I would also find ways to help people be homeowners within their means and dreams."

Theresa was active in real estate during her university education years and she decided to continue her professional life as a Realtor rather than follow her fellow graduates into further academia, such as teaching. "I found my passion, and my purpose, in real estate," she said in a recent interview. "I have never looked back, and I am grateful each and every time I'm able to help someone realize their real estate goals."

Her peers seem to agree that she made the right decision, as Theresa was named the 2019 Realtor of the Year for Rim of the World Association of Realtors. In her acceptance speech, she said "I am surprised, and humbled, and so very grateful. I never expected this. Thank you."

Theresa joined Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty in 1994 and formed The Grant Group in 2008. The next step was incorporating and founding Theresa Grant & Associates, Real Estate Partners, within Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty.  She has been a consistent top producing agent within the Coldwell Banker family, winning annual awards for production including Coldwell Banker International President’s Elite. Theresa has been the only agent within Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty’s 20+ year history to be awarded a “Top Ten Regional Team” award from Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and in 2013 was named one of Realtrend’s “America’s Best Real Estate Agents – California Individuals”.  Theresa was once again named one of  Realtrend’s “America’s Best Real Estate Agents – California Individuals” in June 2017.
